Nice place
Wouldn't necessarily say it's the most vegan friendly but the food I was able to eat was great!
Really fresh and delicious Vietnamese food, very friendly service and all at great prices. Also, they were very helpful with our food preferences and allergies including wheat free and no meat which can be challenging.
It was delicious after eating out after a long absence. Thank you.
so so
good food for reasonable price
This is the worst food I have tried to eat in Nara. I ordered fried eggplant with shrimp and minced meat. I took one bite and could not eat it. I wouldn't even give a dog what this restaurant served to me. My husband ordered the beef noodle soup and it tasted rotten. I am giving it 2 stars because our server was nice and the fried spring rolls were edible. Better luck finding edible food at the convenient store than at this restaurant.
It was lovely finding this little authentic vietnamese restaurant. Foods and service are exceptional!
On the way home from New Year's visit.Every dish was very tasty.Easier than anything! The atmosphere inside the shop was also nice.People were also crowded.
Elegant and gentle taste, but Vietnamese taste is thin.Does it have a unique taste when matched with Japanese people? However, it was good not to use Ajinomoto.
Great food really tasty. Nice staff and clean restaurant. Cheaper than the other places nearby. I went during peak times so the queue was quite long but then all the restaurants on that street were at that time
Quite delicious, there are many decorations that look like Vietnam. Near Kintetsu Nara station.
I visited at lunchtime on March 11, 2020. The seasoning of the pho soup was delicious with eyes. The service was also good.
Unfortunately, the only bad meal I had in my two weeks in Japan. The chicken mince tasted off, the sauce was bland, the roasted pork that my partner ordered was 90% bone and cartridge - and the 5% of meat was overcooked and dry. The vegetables were limp and not fresh. We left with empty stomachs. Also overpriced considering the quality of the food. The staff however, were extremely friendly and welcoming.
Best curry I've ever had in my life. Cute place, so glad I stopped by.
Bun Cha!!!! SUPER AUTHENTIC. The meatball soup with vermicelli and fried spring rolls (bun cha) is a must. Absolutely amazing. The grilled catfish was also very herb-y and yummy, prepared fresh at the table. Steamed pork rolls were served last but a great finish to an awesome meal. Prices are fine because quality is top notch. Lots of noodles given with every dish so very filling, delicious meal.
The waiter looking like the shopkeeper commanded and almost yelled at me. This is not a comfortable place for people who are tired on a trip.
Comsun lunch and buncher! Both are delicious, but it's a shame that there aren't any dokudami in the vegetables and there are few pakuchi! Maybe it can't be helped in Japan. There are lots of other delicious foods in Vietnam, but everyone seems to be asking for pho. It's a little strange.
Sunday, December 12, 2019Nara trip!Colorful interior (forgot photo)
I specially recommend the spicy grilled chicken with rice
Vietnamese food with Vietnamess atmostphere but really hope to have various kinds of herb like Vietnamese cuisince in Vietnam
It's really delicious. I've eaten followers, Goicun and Buncher many times, but always perfect 💯 I think using raw pho is even better. If you don't have it, you can't help it, but it might be better to soften the pho you're using.
It's really delicious 😋🍴💕
I don't know if it was because I was tired of Japanese food but I really enjoyed this restaurant! The place is nice and cosy, not too pricey (especially during lunch).I ordered the pho which was pretty good (note that it's with chicken, not beef) and the spring rolls, which weren't as good as I remembered from Vietnam. They have English menu but explanations about the dishes won't be as complete as if you were Japanese.Definitely would go back again.
Easily the worst Vietnamese food I've ever had. The rice paper rolls were limp, bland and skinny. The chicken mince stir fry is not even a Vietnamese dish and it tasted/looked like off cafeteria meat and then the roast pork was mainly inedible as it was 90% bone and cartilage. Honestly, it was rude to serve that. We immediately went next door to have a far superior meal...at McDonald's.
Very good viet food and very nice staff
We had a set of Vietnamese tuna noodles and bunchers. I went to Vietnam two days after returning from Japan, but I felt the taste was close to local. There were also many Vietnamese customers.
Tastey Vietnamese. Convenient to Kintetsu Nara. Nice atmosphere. Around 2000 yen for dinner. Accepts credit cards. On second floor. No wheelchair access (I think).
The pho soup was delicious. A lot of choice for cheap price. If you want to eat a good Vietnamese noodle soup, I recommend this place !
I got a Saigon course.I was able to eat at my own pace and I was able to relax. The kindness of the women who arranged the dishes served well, so I could relax and have a relaxing meal.Thank you very much.
Close to the station. One of the few authentic Vietnamese restaurants in Nara. The price was reasonable and the food was satisfying.
Wine tasted like it was watered down. Serving size small. Meal was packed out with lemon grass and kaffir lime leafs.
The staffs had a very mean looks toward me, the food was just so so compare to other Vietnamese restaurants.
Cosy restaurant with the Vietnamese cuisine. Delicious meals and nice personnel.
I think the rule in this restaurant that you can't share your food with friends is terrible
A good vietnamese food (with gluten free options)Small little place on the 2nd floor
I went for the first time in a long time, but it was still delicious!
Good food, friendly stuff, prices are fine.
Delicious Vietnamese food at reasonable price. Staff was friendly and atmosphere was nice. Highly recommend!
Easily the worst food I have had in Japan. It tasted like they served us rotten leftovers. I'll take a four course meal from 7eleven before letting that cook make me anything.
The food is alright but asking customers to leave as they are not finished with their coffee at 3.30pm (while having only started lunch set at 3pm) leaves a bitter taste. I feel like I didn't have my lunch. Not sure if I will go again.
Easily the worst pho we ever had.
If you want to eat pho, this is the place to go. You can enjoy authentic Vietnamese food. There are not many seats, so it is better to make a reservation when you have a large number of people. The speed at which food comes out is fast. However, because the chopsticks are toy chopsticks, noodles are very hard to grasp and eat, so it takes time and techniques.
The really good good, great prices, and friendly hard working employees all combined to make this one of my favorite meals in Kyoto. It was busy so if you arrive at peak times there may be no seat available.
Delicious pho bo and very nice staff!
A long-established Vietnamese restaurant.Stable taste...
Order the Grilled Pork if you’d like to know what eating a rubber boot is like.My partners meal, the grilled chicken was fine, but the pork I had was the worst pork I’ve ever eaten. Not edible, purely fat offcuts. Just disgusting.Would not recommend.
Absolutely fantastic Vietnamese food found in Nara, Japan. Highly recommended!
Because the price is in front of the station, it may be expensive. The taste is usually delicious. The foar (like ramen) of a four-garn lunch is a quick taste. The topping pachy picks a person.I really choose people. If you don't have a pacchie, then you? It was easy to eat including (.
I really enjoyed having the lunch set at this place. There aren't many options, but we loved the curry and rice noodles with pork. We went to have lunch 2 times there. They have English menu. The price is good for the food!
